Personal Accident Insurance providing financial support in the event of an accident

Every year, thousands of Australians are injured whilst carrying out renovations or home improvements, or just doing life. The consequences can be devastating, but you can take steps to protect yourself and your family from the potential hardship an accident may bring. Cover starts from $1.39* a day.

Your cover will pay a benefit of up to 85% of your income. As a minimum you receive $1,000 per week, with no proof of income required, and up to $2,500 per week as a result of being unable to work.

You may also choose to include illnesses cover, combining Personal Accident & Illness Insurance which compensates you the same benefit should you fall ill and were unable to earn your regular income. Subject to the benefit period selected, you may be insured for up to 2 years.

Policy option includes disablement, permanent disability, permanent injury and (worst case) death lump sum payments.

Premiums are generally tax deductable. Monthly payment plans are available. Variable waiting periods to reduce premiums are also available.

To assist return to work, this Policy may provide reimbursement for return to work programs, up to $5,000,

Who is eligible for cover? Cover available up to 70 years of age and subject to the policy chosen
What does the Plan cover me for? As a guide, Loss of income if you are unable to work due to injury or serious illness (if you have selected the illness option) for up to two years. Option to include Death and Disablement, which provides cover for accidental death, and partial or total disablement. Depending on the policy you choose, additional benefits may include rehabilitation and return to work assistance, transport assistance, reimbursement of membership fees, and twelve (12) weeks upfront guaranteed payment. If you do become sick or injured, Personal Accident & Illness (PA) insurance will provide financial protection and peace of mind by paying up to 85% of your income, with a weekly benefit of up to $2,000 per week whilst you are temporarily unable to work. Depending on the benefit period you choose, you could be covered for up to 2 years. You can elect to take cover for accidental injury only, or for accidental injury and illness. There is also the option to include Death and Disablement cover, which provides a lump sum payment in the event you become permanently disabled or die.

Who can I cover? Just about anybody over the age of 18years old and under 71years old
How much does the Plan cost? Depends on the type of cover you require/desire/choose. Once we receive your application we will immediately provide a proposal, with cover details and premium
What if I want to pay annually? Yes you can. Monthly payment plan also available
When am I covered for accidents? 24/7 with some restrictions on sports, occupation and locations
Will I need to take a medical? No

What are your opening hours / phone numbers? Qtrust Insurances hours are noted on our website, and in essence we are every day 8am to 8pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 6pm weekends and Public Holidays
Is motorcycling covered? Yes on sealed roads and in farm agricultural environments where engine capacity is less than 250cc
Is horse riding covered? Yes but not when participating in professional capacity
Are skiing accidents covered? Yes but not when participating in professional capacity
What is not covered? Pre-existing conditions. Pregnancy and childbirth. Participation in professional sports. Being under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Criminal acts caused by you. Suicide and intentional self-injury. Mental illness, and mental or emotional disorders.
